Therapeutic Massage ranges from lighter pressure relaxation style to deep tissue. I use a combination of techniques including Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, fascial work, manual stretching, and joint mobilization to create a customized treatment. This can include massage of the scalp, face, jaw, abdomen, and feet as well.
SNS Calming Treatment
This treatment is specially designed to calm your sympathetic nervous system. Using methodical compression, rocking, joint play, and passive stretching we will address the entire body from head to toe. The client stays dressed and no lotion is used.
Book this if: you need to relax, you do not need a specific condition addressed, you live with anxiety, you have trouble sleeping, or do not like swedish massage therapy.
What to wear: t-shirt, joggers or stretchy pants..
As seen in the photo above. Cupping uses negative pressure to loosen muscles, encourage blood flow, and sedate the nervous system. I equate the feeling to being vacuumed and use it on chronically tight or congested muscles. I use both silicone and glass cups and also do both stagnant and sliding cupping.
RAPID Neurofascial Reset
RAPID is an intentional, movement based technique that works on the neurological system; the therapist applied specific pressure to the clients adhesions and then has the client move through a variety of motions. Through these actions, we are reprogramming your bodies response to pain while releasing adhesions or what you may call "sticky spots or knots."
This differs from standard massage therapy in that the client stays dressed, no lotion is used, and treatments are offered for 15 or 30 minutes .
What to wear: t-shirt, joggers, or stretchy pants.
